Hamas’s call for international organizations to document Gaza mass graves underscores the urgency and gravity of the humanitarian situation in the region. Documenting mass graves is crucial for preserving evidence of potential war crimes or human rights violations and for ensuring accountability for those responsible.

By urging international organizations to investigate and document the mass graves in Gaza, Hamas seeks to shine a light on the extent of the violence and suffering endured by Palestinians during the conflict. It also underscores the need for transparency, truth, and justice in addressing the human cost of the conflict and holding perpetrators accountable.

However, it’s essential to note that Hamas’s involvement in the conflict and its actions are also subject to scrutiny and accountability under international law. Therefore, any investigation into mass graves must be conducted impartially and comprehensively, with a focus on uncovering the truth and providing justice for all victims, regardless of their affiliation.

Ultimately, the call for international organizations to document Gaza mass graves highlights the importance of upholding human rights, promoting accountability, and working towards a just and lasting resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The Hamas Movement said that the recent discovery of another mass grave at Al-Shifa Hospital is further evidence that Israel’s aim is to displace and exterminate Palestinians in Gaza.

Hamas said Israel’s conduct should compel the UN to take action to end the “barbaric” aggression against Gaza.

“We call on all rights groups and relevant organizations to document these crimes and submit them to the International Criminal Court and other courts,” it said in a statement on Wednesday.

Earlier Wednesday, Gaza’s Government Media Office (GMO) announced that medical teams have managed to discover a third mass grave inside Al-Shifa Hospital, from which 49 martyrs have been recovered so far, and the recovery operation is still ongoing.
