A horde of extremist Jewish settlers kidnaped on Monday night a Palestinian citizen from ash-Shuyukh town, north of al-Khalil in the occupied West Bank, and savagely beat him.
According to a family source, a group of settlers kidnaped and assaulted Ziyad Halayka as he was returning from work.
The settlers reportedly took Halayka to the illegal settlement of Asfar near ash-Shuyukh town, where they embarked on beating him, before dumping him unconscious in Wadi Sa’ir area.
Halayka’s wife said she was able to reach her husbands about two hours after he was kidnaped, adding that he was rushed to the Princess Alia Governmental Hospital.
The wife also said that her husband suffers from bruises and injuries all over his body.
